Stress and Displacement of Cylindrical Lithium-Ion Power Battery during Charging and Discharging

چکیده
During the charging and discharging process of a lithium-ion power battery, intercalation deintercalation can cause volume change in jellyroll internal stress batteries as well, which may lead to battery failures safety issues. A mathematical model based on plane strain hypothesis was established predict stresses both radial hoop directions, with each winding layer obtained. Displacements steel case, jellyroll, core during processes were also analyzed, effect concentration size discussed. The research results explain well wrinkling fracture jellyroll.
